NEW YORK (Jan. 12, 2010) — The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) announced today that it has launched a newly redesigned Issues & Trends, PRSA’s daily news digest that provides its members with concise industry and organizational news. In response to a member survey, PRSA retooled its new daily communications vehicle that is designed to give our members more of what they want, and less of what they don’t.
Information pertaining to PRSA and industry news, notices and offers, which previously was communicated in separate e-mails, has been consolidated into one streamlined channel. The new Issues & Trends will deliver a concise summary of the day’s top articles of interest to public relations professionals while incorporating job listings and career resources, Professional Development opportunities and free webinar listings, seminar listings, and Chapter and member highlights.
The Issues & Trends content will be organized by theme according to the day of the week, reducing the volume of daily e-mails received by PRSA members.
