Gerard F. Corbett, APR, Fellow PRSA, chair and CEO of the Public Relations Society of America, is quoted in a March 21, 2012, article in Bloomberg News about the success of the Federal Reserve’s recently launched public relations strategy, which aims to deflect criticism of the Fed and better inform the public and investors of its policies. The article is also published online in Bloomberg Businessweek.
Corbett notes that the effectiveness of the Fed’s strategy has yet to become apparent to most Americans.
“Middle America may not be a beneficiary of this campaign yet,” said Corbett. “It’s a very, very, very long road.”
