PRSA Offers Industry Leaders the Chance to Demonstrate Expertise at the 2013 International Conference in Philadelphia

The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) invites public relations, social media, marketing and communications strategists to answer the 2013 International Conference “Call for Presentations.” Public relations thought leaders are invited to share their research, strategies, best practices and results at the Conference in Philadelphia, Oct. 26 – 29, 2013. Candidates may submit presentation proposals to PRSA via the International Conference website.

Presenting at the PRSA International Conference permits public relations experts to exhibit their key learnings and network with thousands of their peers by leading breakout sessions at the most dynamic gathering of communications professionals in the world.

PRSA seeks presentations that are detailed and thoughtful and has the ability to arm participants with the knowledge and tools they can implement in their practice. Specifically, PRSA would like presenters who can demonstrate:
  • Results-oriented best practices (which may have evolved as the result of a strategic shift or nimble tactical adjustment)
  • Strategies and value propositions (with measureable outcomes)
  • Solutions for organizational challenges (trust and reputation protection, staff development, internal communications, corporate social responsibility and social media integration)
  • Key drivers of critical business functions (crisis communications, sales generation, customer relations, issues management, stakeholder engagement and research, legislative compliance, media relations, and shifts in behavior and perception)
  • Organizational positioning (integrated marketing communications, brand identity and risk management)
  • Core career competencies (diversity, ethics, leadership, collaboration, networking and influence)
Completed proposals should be submitted no later than Friday, March 1, 2013. Applicants will be notified of final selections in May 2013.
The PRSA 2013 International Conference will be held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. Attendees can save $250 off the registration fee when they register by March 1, 2013.

[Update: The PRSA 2013 International Conference Call for Presentations has now been extended through Monday, March 11, 2013 at 8 p.m. EDT.]
