Fast Company Cofounder Polly LaBarre to Deliver Keynote Speech at the PRSA 2014 International Conference

NEW YORK, June 20, 2014Polly LaBarre, founding member of Fast Company  and editorial director of the MIX (Management Innovation eXchange), will present the Monday keynote speech at The Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) 2014 International Conference on Oct. 13 in Washington, D.C., PRSA announced today.
On day two of the three-day International Conference (Oct. 12-14), LaBarre will discuss her quest to embolden and equip leaders to make their organizations more resilient, innovative and accountable.
LaBarre, a bestselling author and entrepreneur who has been published in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, has also appeared on CNBC and Good Morning America as a thought leader on the disruptive strategies, businesses and innovations changing how we work. Her current position at MIX, a pioneering open innovation project dedicated to reinventing management for the 21st century, is putting her passion for discovering the people who are creating the future based on the their original ideas and bold ideals to the test.

More recently, Polly has been a business and innovation correspondent for CNN where she produced regular segments on big ideas and best practices from the world of business and beyond.
The PRSA 2014 International Conference theme is “Leading the Way: A Fearless Future for PR.” The focus of the conference will be on the need of practitioners and the profession to adapt to today’s transformative media environment.
