PRSA Announces its Call for Presentations for the 2014 International Conference

Society Seeks Industry Experts to Exhibit Thought Leadership this October in Washington, D.C.
NEW YORK (Jan. 23, 2014) — The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) invites communication industry leaders to answer the PRSA 2014 International Conference “Call for Presentations.” Public relations, social media and business experts are invited to share their research, strategies, best practices and results at the Conference in Washington, D.C. Oct. 12 – 14, 2014. Applicants may submit presentation proposals to PRSA via the International Conference website.

Presenting at the PRSA International Conference permits public relations experts to exhibit research and give back to the profession. In addition, presenters have the opportunity to meet exhibitors and fellow speakers, and network with more than 3,000 peers at the most dynamic gathering of communications professionals in the world.

PRSA requests presentations that are detailed and have the ability to provide participants with results-oriented best practices they can implement for their company or clients. Specifically, PRSA requests presentations for the following programming tracks:
•             Integration
•             Tools and Techniques
•             Specialization
•             Strategy and Measurement
•             Leadership and Management

The PRSA 2014 International Conference theme is “Leading the Way: A Fearless Future for PR.” The focus of the conference will be on the need of practitioners and the profession to adapt to today’s transformative media environment. As such, PRSA has introduced the brand new “integration” track to the mix, with the goal of arming public relations professionals with the knowledge to effectively utilize multiple, diverse communication platforms to reinforce campaign effectiveness and achieve strategic goals.
Completed proposals should be submitted no later than Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Applicants will be notified of final selections in May 2014. Potential speakers are encouraged to download the “Call for Presentations” Preparation Guide to view guidelines for submitting a proposal.
