Former PRSA Chair Cherenson Comments on Impact of 'Jersey Shore' on New Jersey Brand in Advertising Age

Former PRSA Chair and CEO Michael G. Cherenson, APR, Fellow PRSA, is quoted in Advertising Age on the impact of the MTV reality show “Jersey Shore” on New Jersey’s brand and reputation. Cherenson, a resident of Parsippany, N.J., said that while the show has “enhanced the visibility” of the state, this type of branding “doesn't always correlate to enhanced reputation.”
