PRWeek Highlights PRSA’s #PRin2012 Series in Column on Industry Leadership

PRWeek columnist Bruce Berger references the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA)’s #PRin2012 blog series as the basis of his Jan. 13, 2012, column exploring what constitutes “great leadership” in the public relations profession. Berger says that PRSAY, the PRSA thought-leadership forum, “recently predicted 12 trends that will change the industry in 2012. Lodged in the list … was this: the need for ‘great industry leadership’ to help the industry ‘become the management consultants of the 21st century.’”
PRSA’s #PRin2012 series examines 12 trends that will impact the public relations profession in 2012. The series began with a compilation post of all 12 predictions and continues to run each day throughout the month of January. The post that Berger cites on “the need for ‘great industry leadership’” was written by Stephen Waddington, managing director of the U.K.-based Speed Communications.
