“Scott’s work for NASA is not only interesting, but his groundbreaking work has been studied and admired by people from across the globe,” said Mark McClennan, APR, 2016 PRSA National Chair. “Our International Conference attendees will find Scott’s stories exhilarating and inspiring and they will provide communications insights learned in the stars that practitioners can apply to their daily activities on earth. This must-attend session will be the perfect way to launch PRSA’s flagship event.”
Kelly’s NASA career has earned him the coveted position as America’s first “year-round astronaut.” During the historic mission from March 2015 to March 2016, Kelly and Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko conducted experiments, reconfigured station modules, and captivated the world with live interviews and never- before- seen photos from the International Space Station.
Prior to his career with NASA, Kelly served 25 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as an experienced aviator and decorated Captain.
