Ofield Dukes, APR, Fellow PRSA, Speaks About "Communicating with Diverse Audiences"

Ofield Dukes, APR, Fellow PRSA, an award-winning public relations practitioner in Washington, D.C., spoke on April 8, 2010, at Buffalo State University, on "Communicating with Diverse Audiences." He encouraged students entering public relations practice to consider the diversity of the American population from an economic perspective, emphasizing that every company providing goods and services in the marketplace will have to respond to the diverse demographics and psychographics of today’s consumer.

Dukes is president of Ofield Dukes & Associates, whose clients have included General Motors, Motown Records, and AT&T and serves as a special counsel for PRSA on issues related to diversity.
