The Public Relations Society of America
(PRSA) has added Edelman Chief Content Strategist Steve Rubel
to the list of keynoters for its 2013 Digital Impact Conference
, which will take place June 27 and 28
at the New York Hilton
Rubel, whose job responsibilities include identifying and implementing best practices in content creation and delivery for the world’s largest public relations firm, will deliver the luncheon keynote, “The Content Imperative,” on the conference’s opening day. In keeping with the conference theme, “Social Business: Strategies for Success,” Rubel will explain how public relations and communications professionals can develop a “content mindset,” while also exploring the latest content-creation approaches and sharing practical tips for working with media and content studios.
Rubel joins a slate of Digital Impact Conference keynote presenters that also includes search engine expert and Search Engine Land Founding Editor Danny Sullivan
, who will deliver the opening keynote presentation, “The New Face of Public Relations: The Power of Search Engines and Social Media”; and 30-year U.S. Marine Corps. veteran and Director of Marine Corps Production, Col. Greg Reeder
, whose panel discussion, “Lessons from the Trenches,” will probe the importance of digital communications during a crisis.
Held annually, the Digital Impact Conference brings together digital marketing and communications specialists to provide practical, actionable advice that can be used immediately to inspire new ideas, deploy best practices, leverage new technologies and platforms and quantify program results.
