PRSA Chair-Elect Joseph Cohen Discusses the PRSA International Conference with PR News

In an October 23 feature with PR News, PRSA Chair-Elect Joseph E. Cohen, APR discussed the PRSA 2013 International Conference and his priorities for his 2013-2014 term.

During the interview, Cohen outlined the important messages he hopes public relations professionals will receive at the Conference, his top priorities for 2014 and how the changes in the marketing communications field impacts the value of public relations.

Cohen explained, "A key theme at this year's conference is leadership and our message will center on seizing upon the opportunity for PR to serve as a lead strategic discipline. Organizational reputation has never been harder to build or to protect and we continue to see that the reputation of once venerable brands can be tarnished in an instant."
