PRSA VP of Public Relations Explains Why New York Is a Dominant Hub for PR

In a March 20, 2013 article in PRMoment, PRSA VP of Public Relations Arthur Yann offered his explanation for why New York City has always been a dominant PR hub for so many of the well-known agencies, offering a more professional opportunities for individuals. 
Yann explained, “Many of the top 100 public relations firms in the country at that time (and to this day) were based in New York – or, at a minimum, have a New York office.” The concentration of firms in New York influenced his personal journey of finding his first public relations job following college.
The article also explores London as a leading public relations force because of its aggressive style of media. London-based public relations professionals therefore need to be proactive and strategic when dealing with the media.
