PRSA Reveals Finalists for the 2016 Silver Anvil Awards

NEW YORK (April 6, 2016) – The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) announced the finalists for the communication industry’s esteemed Silver Anvil Award, representing the best in strategic and influential public relations programs.
 
The top campaign in each category will win a Silver Anvil, and finalists in each category will take home an Award of Excellence. The winners will be announced at the PRSA 2016 Silver Anvil Awards Ceremony on June 9 at the AXA Equitable Center in New York City.
 
“The PRSA Silver Anvils recognize Silver Anvil Awardscommunicators who create some of the top communications campaigns in the past year, and most importantly, leverage research and strategic planning to achieve measurable business results for their companies or clients,” said PRSA 2016 National Chair Mark McClennan, APR. “In a crowded and evolving influencer and media landscape, Silver Anvil Award nominees have designed and executed superior campaigns that allow their messages to stand out and positively advance their organization. Each finalist should be proud of the excellent work they’ve done.”
 
Bestowed annually since 1944, the Silver Anvil Award is the oldest awards competition for excellence in public relations and communication. Meant to symbolize the forging of public opinion, the iconic Silver Anvil Award recognizes outstanding professional achievement. Entries are judged on their research, planning, execution and evaluation, while also taking factors such as creativity, ethics and budget into consideration.
