The award, presented today at the PRSA 2013 International Conference in Philadelphia, is given annually to a PRSA member whose public service has benefited his or her community and reflected positively on PRSA.

“For more than three decades, Carol has used her tremendous public relations, advocacy and strategic communication skills to serve her local community in Corpus Christi,” said PRSA 2013 Chair and CEO, Mickey G.
