The Weather Channel Host, Jim Cantore, to Deliver Keynote Address at PRSA 2015 International Conference

NEW YORK, June 3, 2015Jim Cantore, meteorologist and host for The Weather Channel, will deliver the Sunday afternoon keynote address at The Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) 2015 International Conference on Nov. 8 in Atlanta, Ga. PRSA announced today.
Cantore will discuss the power of storytelling when he address participants at the three-day (Nov. 8-10) International Conference, drawing from his 25 years of unique weather reporting experience. Known for his live accounts from severe weather events, Cantore embodies the passion and knowledge of The Weather Channel. Due to his coverage of every major weather event in the past 25 years, including Hurricanes Katrina and Irene and Superstorm Sandy, Cantore has become the weather authority viewers turn to when the forecasts turn dire.

As a storm tracker, Cantore reports tirelessly for The Weather Channel before, during and after weather events providing live reports and insights for the network. When not in the field, he covers the latest forecast and weather news on "Weather Center Live” and also serves as a frequent contributor to NBC programs. He also serves as host to many original productions on The Weather Channel, including the award-winning "Storm Stories," the network's first signature long-form series, as well as “Cantore Stories.”
The PRSA 2015 International Conference is the largest gathering of public relations professionals in the United States.
